Hi, I'm Joann Feng.
At present, I work as a UI/UX Designer at Perpetual, a software design+development company that specializes in providing end-to-end solutions for our clients. Here, I enjoy helping visionaries build brands and products' pleasant user experience that drive performance and returns.
I have a special love for storytelling and problem-solving. My design process is rooted in rapid iterations and customer-driven research practices that translate into useful, lovable products.
With a solid background in architecture, I hold a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University. Previously an architectural designer at Howeler+Yoon Architecture, I worked closely with the design team, stakeholders, and engineers in solving some of the most challenging design problems to develop meaningful spatial experience cross different scales, including the MIT Museum in Boston.
With 8 years combined experience in UI/UX, architectural design, and a broad knowledge of how interaction and visual cues resonate emotion, I believe UX design is the essential creation of an experience between what and how a user utilize technology to achieve their goals.
Apart from these, I love traveling, NBA, comedy, and improv-cooking. If you would like to talk about the latest tech and design trends then let's meet, coffee's on me.
